Teething 5 year old03 Jan 2006 12:23 GMT7
My son is cutting his first molars. He has already gotten the first molars on
the bottom and he just had pain, however the ones on the top are more painful
for him, associated with hot/cold chills and fever. Can he be having these
symptoms as well?
Amalgams cause hallucinations?03 Jan 2006 01:37 GMT23
I read some anti-amagamites claim this, but I think it's like the voices
they hear in their head saying, dentists are evil, dentists poison people..
I think they are just insane.

Sue, I don't know what you're trying to accomplish by your
"TM-unchausen's by Proxy"-joke ... but I think you ought to knock it off.

Haven't worn my retainer in 9 years02 Jan 2006 00:56 GMT1
When I got my braces off I was a punk kid, I had no forethought of the
future. In due course, I hardly ever wore my retainer, not much at all.
My teeth have remained relatively straight. Now, I fear they will go
crooked again.
Better method holding crowns?01 Jan 2006 22:03 GMT12
Over the past year I've had two root canals that resulted in
crowns with gold posts.  Both keep loosening and falling out.
In one case I swallowed one with obvious results.  My dentist
claims that he is using the largest post and my margins are very
Amalgam Mercury Eye01 Jan 2006 20:05 GMT3
Is there any truth that mercury amalgam fillings cause one eye to be larger
than the other?  Or is that just proof of inbreeding?

The endo today pointed out that a very small piece of porcelain is
missing from the bottom of my new crown.
He said it didn't really matter (wasn't his crown, by the way) and
there was no real reason to point it out to me except I guess that he
Amalgam causes wrinkles01 Jan 2006 00:15 GMT4
I have seen some pictures of certain people who are so wrinkled and had a
mouth full of amalgams, so the cause must be the mercury, but wait, they had
them removed and their blood swapped with Mick Jagger's, zapped by some
electronic device in some crazy women's basement, had a ...
