Overcoming Invisalign sharp edge painful tongue using chewing gum09 Dec 2005 04:55 GMT24
Is there an accepted way to overcome Align Technology Invisalign sharp

The dentist didn't tell me my tongue would be ripped to shreds. I'm

Is dizziness related to rotten tooth?09 Dec 2005 00:30 GMT4
Hi, I am waiting for a rotten tooth (2nd molar, upper jaw) to be looked at
in the next few days but I'm noticing a bit of dizziness from time to time.
Is it possible this is related to the tooth?
Many thanks for any advice.

A few MonoDont questions08 Dec 2005 13:07 GMT7
Howdy all. Sorry if I'm ignoring some threads, but I'll be back soon.
For now, I finally got the MonoDont parts and I'm going to make a
denture tooth version to go into the upper right canine spot. I looked
at the PowerPoint step by step that the DAL people sent along, but
Dental Software and Hardware under Linux07 Dec 2005 21:00 GMT9
There are several interesting programs for dentists under Windows. They
can easily connect to digital x-ray devices and integrate the x-rays
taken into the files.
The only word that bothers me is "Windows". I've seen them all (OK,
crown replacement - (UPDATE)07 Dec 2005 19:52 GMT23
I want to thank everyone again for their comments on my previous thread
- very eye opening for me in regards to the "dental plan" issues and
whether that has factored into what my current experience is or not.
Putting aside the dental plan issues, here's an update of where I am
Searching for a technical  word... and periodontal advice07 Dec 2005 05:36 GMT65
Went for a perio checkup, and it looks like good oral hygiene is doing
something ( maximum depths were 3-5mm  on the back molars in place of
the old 4-6mm seen last July. ) The diagnosis was also different,
characterized as moderate in place of severe. The (new) periodontist
Mouthwash Question07 Dec 2005 03:06 GMT7
Is it safe to use a mouthwash like Listerine after you have lost a
dental filling?  I just lost one of my root canal fillings today. I
usually use Listerine everyday but I'm wondering what it will do to an
unprotected tooth.
Question re: gum surgery   laser vs scalpel06 Dec 2005 19:44 GMT5
Can somebody help me please?
My dentist wants to perform this type of surgery in order to fill a cavity
below  the gumline.   He would not use a laser for this (he says he prefers
the scalpel, but I am not sure, maybe he does not have the instrument -he
Lava crowns06 Dec 2005 16:54 GMT14
A Dentist talked me into putting four pfm crowns on my upper anterior teeth
for cosmetic reasons.  My real teeth felt great, had no cavities and I never
even thought about the slight misalignment, Since the day these crowns were
put on I have been in a continual state of oral ...

How old is your toothpaste?05 Dec 2005 21:18 GMT16
I picked up a new tube of toothpaste this evening and thought I should
have a look at the expiration date.  I don't know when I last looked for
this information on toothpaste -- if ever, to tell the truth.

Is this dentist a con artist? Is this a fair price for what I got?05 Dec 2005 16:46 GMT39
I went in today for a crown, that is, preparing for the crown.
My Delta PMI insurance is supposed to cover this so I was pretty sure
it was going to be in the neighborhood of $275. But when I got there
he told me it was going to be $525.
