dentist where he was vacationing. He complained that tooth was sore and
dentist examined, told him he'd probably need endo and gave him a script for
antibiotics and a weeks worth of prednisone. I am not ...

Should I  try to have my bridge removed & reglued?03 Nov 2005 05:22 GMT6
I have a top front bridge spanning from eye tooth to eye tooth -  6

the left side holding 3 replacement teeth in the middle.  I noticed for
the last week or so, that the bridge feels funny on the side with just
Dental Cooperatives?03 Nov 2005 04:00 GMT3
Does anyone have any insight about those Dental Cooperatives (e.g.,
www.dentalsave.com )?  I assume there are "gotchas" to watch out for. Thanks
for any tips.
Small Cavity: no treatment advised! Is that ok?02 Nov 2005 17:23 GMT11
Hello, I am 26 and I had no problems to my teeth to date.
A few days ago I had some moderate pain around my molar, I was worried
and by self-inspection I noticed a small dark hole (about 0.5 mm
diameter) on the outside of a molar. Worried by a cavity, I ran to the
Problem after Extraction02 Nov 2005 16:38 GMT7
I had multiple teeth removed last week.  After a day or 2, I realized
one of the sockets was not closing on an extracted left rear tooth, and
that it was open to my nasal passage.  When I rinse my mouth, water can
travel through the socket into my left nostril.

Why dis endo?02 Nov 2005 16:17 GMT57
I did a little searching on our visiting dentist.  What
could be the financial interest that would drive someone
to be anti-endo?

STARTING DENTIST SALARY and Chain Dental vs Private Practice02 Nov 2005 00:04 GMT7
My wife graduated from dental school, finished a G.P.R program. She
started looking for a job and got an offer from Great Lakes Dental
Corporation, a chain dental. They have a 14 page contract with a lot of
lawyer lingo in there.  Bottom line is the offer is for $86450 salary
The LIES Told in this Newsgroups01 Nov 2005 20:43 GMT9
While looking for a post, I ran across this, under the title Greed and
dentistry, which I had not read. It was posted by Amatus. I strongly suggest
he check his facts before posting these LIES. I will ask him at this time to
prove his accusation, and show me where he has ever ...
USA public perception "dental insurance"01 Nov 2005 19:55 GMT15
http://www.deltadentalins.com/aarp/plan_info/faq.html
People are led to think that "dental insurance" is an important feature
of their healthcare "insurance".  But there is great dispute about the
terminology (dental insurance) and it's wisdom.
Hip replacement premed antibiotics01 Nov 2005 18:44 GMT61
I came across someone who had hip replacements and the hygienist asked me
about premed, stating that she thought that it should be done within 5 years
of the surgery.  I looked it up, seeing that it should be within 2 years of
surgery, but could have sworn I've seen it to be within ...
Dr. Kulancz01 Nov 2005 18:42 GMT27
I recieved an e-mail from Dr. Kulancz today.  In it, he clears up
a few areas of controversy.
He is no longer in clinical practice stating that his production
did not pay his overhead.

The fun of managed care01 Nov 2005 18:07 GMT8
I just had a patient call the office yesterday.  This is a patient who we
had been treating for many years.  This past year, they opted for an HMO
plan and left the practice.  Patient has a composite on the incisal edge of
a maxillary incisor.  Because of the parafunctional ...
