Invisalgin, jaw popping17 Nov 2005 22:50 GMT1
Please help. I got invisalign orthodontics yesterday to correct a
diastema (gap) between my front teeth. Other than the gap, my teeth are
straight. I need 8 aligners on the bottom, and 9 on the top. When I
took the aligners out tonight to eat, my jaw was popping on the right,

and also gave me sharp pain when I used mouthwash. Anyway they first
get the area numb with local anesthesia. It felt very numb when they
Do you recommend Arestin for 5mm pockets?16 Nov 2005 23:51 GMT12
I went to the dentist for the first time in 3 years and it took about 5

didn't have any problem (discomfort) areas to my knowledge before
entering the dental dungeon.  It was very uncomfortable (more than I

all I can say is "wow!"
just had a very pleasant session where a soft spot was lasered and there was
absolutely no pain or sensation and the whole process was just fantastically easy
compared to all the years of pain with drilling
A question of equipment15 Nov 2005 16:47 GMT25
My daughter went to a dentist who had her spit into a funnel-like cup
instead of the sink that most dentists use--he did not have that sink.
Does this seem out-of-date for today, or send any concerns about his
practice?
X ray, root canal, and extraction15 Nov 2005 13:16 GMT1
I went for a root canal. The doctor only did half a root canal because he
said the tooth might have to be extracted. He wanted the other dentist to
look at it later on.  A week later they took a new x ray and said the tooth
has to be extracted.

I need to resolve an inconsistency about some dental treatment.
My prosthodontist wants to cap my upper front teeth because they are now
very worn down and short.
But I have heard it may be possible to have them lengthened by pulling them
