3 month new dentures23 Nov 2005 00:00 GMT4
I apologize if this group is for dental professionals only.  Since
previously posting, I have been receiving spam in my e-mail as though
I were a dentist !!!!
  Anyway, questions:

sinus lift complications22 Nov 2005 17:06 GMT16
About 4 months ago I had a lateral sinus lift. One month after the
procedure I had an infection. Going back to the periodontist, he said
that it was an infection in the flap which hadn't completely healed.
Also I had told him that while blowing a baloon that air was escaping
The Dr. K Book22 Nov 2005 16:38 GMT194
As promised (to Clinton Z...not Bill Clinton) I have been reading Dr.
Kulacz's book.
I am not finding any thing I would say is untrue, except for the continual
suggestion that the book shows things most dentists know nothing about.
Freeze.Panes revisited22 Nov 2005 15:48 GMT136
Howdy all people and animals and dentists.
Just a quick blurb here to tell youse that I finished typing in my
deductions tables into four Excel sheets this weekend. This is for
doing the source deductions for my employees' pays for Fed/QC income
Is this a dental insurance thing?22 Nov 2005 07:06 GMT18
Called my Delta PMI dentist today to make appointments for free
cleanings for my wife and I, to get them done before our insurance
ends (and I mean, ENDS!) on Jan. 1.
The receptionist informed that I cannot get in for a cleaning until
Wisdom tooth extraction while fully awake22 Nov 2005 06:01 GMT48
On the advice of our dentist, my daughter is going to an oral surgeon this
week to see if she needs her wisdom teeth extracted. She had oral surgery a
few years ago to connect a chain to an impacted tooth and insisted on
staying awake. She handled the surgery without a complaint. ...
Tooth implant21 Nov 2005 22:06 GMT16
After I get my tooth extracted I have to have either a bridge or tooth
implant. Why doesn't insurance cover tooth implants? What should I expect
with a tooth implant?  Are there problems that might arise from such a
procedure?
Pain after root canal treatment.21 Nov 2005 21:40 GMT11
I had a root canal performed on my upper right canine tooth 3 days ago,
following 3 months of severe pain in that and the surrounding teeth.
The sensitivity to hot and cold and the pain when biting down has
disappeared, however I still have a severe nagging pain in the area of
Costs21 Nov 2005 21:37 GMT4
Ok, I understand that most DDS' have high costs on supplies.
But why then do extractions cost hundreds each?
Obviously there's considerable overhead of running a business, but
would it be fair to say that standard (cosmetic, restorative) services
Tooth Implant without surgery21 Nov 2005 14:06 GMT1
A tooth is extracted and after couple weeks dentist put an implant in
the existing hole. Technique is pretty cheap. Doesn't need surgery.
I'm interesting what are the risks, generally and particularly with
this technique.
Cigna claim service steeeeenks20 Nov 2005 16:57 GMT17
Just have to vent somewhere -
I made the mistake of paying dentist in full, dentist submitted claim
to Cigna, my insurer, and after a lot of foot dragging and sending
notices that more info was needed ( dentist says sent it to Cigna three
Dentists Incease Your Practice Two Times GUARANTEED20 Nov 2005 04:20 GMT9
Double Your Practice Guarranteed!
I wanted to take a minute of your time and tell you about a great way
to increase your practice and it's value as much as two or three times!
This is NOT your regular marketing  concept. It is quite brilliant and
Crown Lengthening - Healing20 Nov 2005 03:49 GMT3
Five days ago I had crown lengthening on the very back lower molar
(#32, I think). The dentist who performed the procedure said some
things that according to what I've read, seem iffy:
1) That the dressing would come off like a band-aid, not to worry. She
Help: Large Nodule or Blister on Roof of Mouth19 Nov 2005 11:41 GMT5
I have recently noticed (about 4 days ago) a blister-y feeling think on
the roof of my mouth. It is definitely raised because I can feel it
with my tounge. I can't really tell if it has become larger or smaller,
or if I'm just getting used to it. When I press on it, it seems to
