Implant or Bridge Front Tooth04 Oct 2005 13:59 GMT2
Just a follow up to my post concerning Implant vs. Bridge.
I received a second opinion with a very good surgical firm in my general
area.  After viewing all of my x-rays, from 35 years ago to present and
including bone grafting if necessary, the total estimated cost is $2345 (a
ongoing pain after alveoplasty04 Oct 2005 02:01 GMT4
I am writing on behalf of my 83 year old grandmother who has experienced oral
pain following 4-quadrant alveoplasty in Feb. 2005. The alveoplasty procedure
was done immediately after the extraction of her 14 remaining teeth (she now
has no teeth). The intent was to fit for dentures ...

Crown sans root canal03 Oct 2005 22:45 GMT3
I am looking for some advice regarding the prospect of having a crown
put in without a root canal.

Medicaid does not cover root canal in NYS03 Oct 2005 21:27 GMT18

Licensure by Credentials02 Oct 2005 08:47 GMT10
Was reading a newsletter from the ADA that says 47 states now allow
licensure by credentials if you have been practicing for 5+ years...I hadn't
realized the # was that high, but it is about damn time.
The only remaining holdouts are Florida, South Carolina, and Delaware...the
What type of dentist??02 Oct 2005 00:55 GMT7
HI, the tooth in need of "something" is tooth number 3. I had a root canal done
when i was 14-15, almost 30 years ago. It was filled and the filling fell out
unknown years ago. This "tooth" does have 2 roots but they are no longer
connected by the tooth proper. One root is all by ...

How long do you think it will take before this becomes reality in dentist
practice?
)/T  Space Journey01 Oct 2005 13:49 GMT1
Today, a civilian went into space for his contribution of 20 million.
Could they give you 20 million to go into space?
1 million would send my message around the world.       There  has to be
someone of note that would pick up on it.     Science or not, nothing can
