Wisdom teeth extraction -- healing question26 Oct 2005 05:55 GMT7
I'm a 29-year-old male who got both wisdom teeth on the right side extracted
three weeks ago. The bottom tooth was slightly impacted and only half of the
tooth had broken through my gums. I have read before that it is supposed to
take about a week for the "holes" to close up, but ...

Dembezzling and how to prevent it from happening25 Oct 2005 19:49 GMT5
Anyone want to discuss embezzling and how to prevent it from
happening?
FIRST, you need to describe your office procedures ....... how do you
handle cash, accounts receivable, journal entries, etc.

Dentinogenesis Imperfecta24 Oct 2005 20:02 GMT6
I have Dentinogensis Imperfecta - which basically means the dentin in my
teeth is badly formed and weak.  My enamel is okay but once that breaks off
(which happens pretty easily), it's all downhill from there.  Right now I
have bonding on the front of all my remaining teeth (10 back ...
terminology  questions24 Oct 2005 19:54 GMT18
I was going through a sibling's dental record - I found a dentist for
her 2 years ago, and made sure that along with payment receipt, she
recieved a copy of the work done during each trip made - to help
explain her what's been done on which teeth, I came across some terms
Crown without root canal24 Oct 2005 19:53 GMT3
What would be the need for a crown( not a veneer) on a tooth that has not
recieved root canal therapy?
If the tooth begins to hurt a year after the crown placement, will the tooth
need a root canal at that point?
PolyNeuropathy va. neuritis24 Oct 2005 19:44 GMT3
Again, I will not pretend to know very much about these conditions, but
having neuritis some time back, will relate how it was treated.  Not by the
doctor, but by a suggestion from a friend.  Don't know if Neuropathy is the
same as neuritis, but the symptoms are similar.   It begins ...
Dentogenesis Imperfecta--medical insurance?24 Oct 2005 18:34 GMT9
My wife has the rare condition called Dentogenesis Imperfecta.  She had all
of her teeth capped by a budget dentist in Mexico when she was younger.  The
dentist did an ok job I suppose, but certainly not top of the line.  She is
currently having all her teeth redone and the bill is ...

"Flying Thermometers" ( Mercury-tinged ducks) 23 Oct 2005 15:21 GMT2
I understand that the locals call them "Flying Thermometers" but actually
they are two species of bottom-feeding ducks that you may not want to eat.  Any
of you guys been doing restorations on any duck bills lately?

crown complication22 Oct 2005 16:51 GMT7
In May, I had a crown replaced as it had become slightly loose and led
to further decay of the tooth underneath.  After the replacement, I
noticed a sharp pain whenever I would floss.  This is the 3rd to last
tooth in upper right back.  Went back after two weeks and had a x-ray
