My wife needs dental care. We are of extremely limited means, so much so that even doing a $100 extraction is stretching it to the max to pull off. And that's not even the most desirable option obviously; a root canal would be.

I noticed a post about 3 years ago concerning a "natural therapy" using a product called "peri gum" http://www.peri-gum.com/index.htm Its web site claims that dentists use it ( a common claim with dental product advertisements ).

It appears that the wife's older computer has died and so she cannot use it anymore for transcribing music into Braille for the college and University students. This means that she has to do all that stuff from her newer machine and that one is not connected to the internet. I

My dentist told me composite (plastic white stuff) bonds to teeth prevening preventing decay around or under the cavity. The place where i got x-rays said this was not true - but was true for amalgam. So - which is it?
