clinical microscope23 Sep 2005 23:36 GMT8
I've been toying with the idea (if not the reality) of getting an
operating microscope.  The cost however is a big turnoff, esp. since
(despite the articles from restorative dentists using them) I have my
doubts about just how much I would use it.
Confused about NTI, and need serious professional opinion.23 Sep 2005 22:56 GMT19
I've been suffering from daily headaches since mid-June of this year.  They
started the day after I received a routine checkup/cleaning from my usual
dentist.  The headaches are usually centered around the temples, are always
one-sided (90% of them are left-sided), and sometimes ...
Down with Rita23 Sep 2005 22:56 GMT1
Best wishes to anyone in the Gulf States being threatened by Rita.  I know a
few people in the Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas area who would be
threatened this time. Instead of playing etudes, I have been glued to CNN
and CNBC hoping to see that Rita stalls out or loses ...

Anyone remember the name of that dental material Hans said a couple of
years back was going to revolutionize restorative dentistry?

What is this disorder called?23 Sep 2005 12:31 GMT11
I recently read a story in which one of the characters was obsessed
with brushing their teeth and would do so more than 10 times a day.
They would brush their teeth so much and so hard that it caused their
gums/teeth to bleed, become raw, and painful. Is there a specific name

I finally hooked up the router we bought together in London.  The
rebate is only good within Canada.  I will mail it in with your
address.  When you get it, buy lunch or something.

Delayed treatment for abscessed tooth23 Sep 2005 04:41 GMT13
I had a filling put in one of my upper teeth about 2 years ago.  At the
time my dentist said the tooth was "Hot".  Well last week I
accidentally bit down wrong and I kinda knocked it a bit.  There was no
visible damage.  The next morning my whole upper jaw felt like it was

In the US, is it acceptable for an adult patient (aged 16+) to have a
friend, spouse, or family member with them in the operatory, if the
patient so wishes? Thanks.
Wanted: psychopaths to make a killing22 Sep 2005 18:41 GMT9
LONDON (Reuters) - "Wanted: psychopaths to make a killing in the markets."
Such an advert will not be appearing in the world's newspapers any time soon, but it may have a ring
of truth after research revealed the best wheeler-dealers could well be "functional psychopaths."
