Hi, my name is Neil, and I live in Canada. I am entering my senior
year, and I'm struggling with what degree should I take after high
school. A pre-dental degree or a bachelor of science degree? The thing
I like about pre-dental degree is that it takes shorter time to

Example.... could a person have an undergrad degree in

caries question29 Jun 2005 14:53 GMT9
I've got a question regarding caries that is being formed on few of my
teeth.
In fact they are very very small dots.
Is there any other solution than filing (if i spelled right)?
wisdom tooth extraction q's28 Jun 2005 19:09 GMT5
I had my four wisdom teeth removed a few months ago. One particular tooth
gave the surgeon a lot of trouble and took him a long time to remove. Since
then, the side of my face that held that tooth is partially numb (sensations
are dulled - I assume a sensory nerve was damaged during ...
confused about what happened to me..28 Jun 2005 16:13 GMT6
Ok, I am one of the cowards that a dentist caters to....but I found a
wonderful dentist with a GREAT personality too....
But something happened to me when he gave me the novocaine shot, first
of all he was going to pull an impacted wisdom tooth and fill a tooth
Some dumb crown related questions28 Jun 2005 15:44 GMT20
I'm in my 40's and have quite a few heavy fillings in most of my molars. I
recently attended a dental clinic for the first time and they advised me
that I need 6 crowns. Apparently if I don't get the crowns I run the risk of
breaking the fillings and the underlying tooth. Just ...
Recommendation needed for dentist in the Toronto area!28 Jun 2005 05:43 GMT1
As the title states:  I'm trying to find a good dentist in Toronto

I know I need to get a root canal.  Is it generally better to go to an
endodontist to have it performed or would a good general dentist

active ingredient is Hydrogen Peroxide; Is it harmful/unhealthy on
the teeth?

Top Signs You Have a Bad Dentist27 Jun 2005 20:27 GMT30
I'm not sure whether you will have fun with this or give an honest
answer. Maybe a little of both will be nice, but I would love to hear
what you think are the top signs you have a bad dentist. :)

root canal w/crown27 Jun 2005 18:00 GMT8
I am 80 years old and don't really expect to live more than 10 or 15 more years.
I went to my dentist and he told me that I need several root canals with crowns
which will run into the thousands of dollars.
I still have all my teeth except two which broke off and I had them replaced
High Risk for Nerve Damage27 Jun 2005 15:43 GMT2
During my consultation for wisdom teeth removal as part of my ortho treatment,
I was told that I am at high risk for damage to the inferior alveolar nerve.
On my lower right wisdom, I have a good size cyst, which warrants removal of
the tooth, but the roots are criss-crossed with ...

Cracked Teeth Question27 Jun 2005 15:27 GMT22
I just had three mercury fillings removed a month ago and replaced with
white fillings.  Two of those fillings have now developed cracks.  One
is right down the middle.  I am a 36 year old male and have had one
other crack in the past.  Do you think my dentist should be responsible
