Morning.
Is it possible that a wisdom tooth with cavity that loses its composite
filling soon may last if filled with amalgam? I'm no dentist, and for
various reasons am really not convinced at this point about a

Dealing with mouth sores28 Mar 2005 22:57 GMT10
I found a small red sore on the inside of my cheek.  I dunno how long it's
been there or why it developed.  I only found it because there's a little
bump next to, which I felt with my tongue.  It didn't hurt until I started
poking at it.
Advice Please28 Mar 2005 22:36 GMT7
I had #20 pulled.  It was the anchor of a 4 unit bridge.
Now I have nada on 18-20.  #17 was salvaged from the old bridge and now
stands alone as a crown (actually it is the remnant of the original 4 unit
bridge).

Yet another question on root canals and implants28 Mar 2005 21:30 GMT6
Approximately seven years ago I had a root canal on tooth #19.  In the
past a few years, hygenists and the dentist would comment that there was
a possible pocket around this teeth.
Lately I have been experiencing some discomfort with this teeth. Today I
Seeking: Implants/ overdenture User 28 Mar 2005 18:17 GMT1
I am still interested in finding someone who is an overdenture wearer, or
who has a complete arch of implants. I am seeking some insights into their
experiences and recommendations. I would appreciate the input.
Thanks....
Tiny tooth?28 Mar 2005 17:45 GMT6
OK, I don't see a dentist as often as I ought to, which is why I'm
asking this question here rather than asking my dentist.
Anyway... years ago, while I was having my teeth cleaned, my dentist
stopped and had a look at my x-rays. What he thought had been a stubborn
Strange smell associated with tooth being pulled?28 Mar 2005 17:45 GMT6
I had a tooth pulled about 10 days ago. It was the back molar on the upper
left side. (I had wisdom teeth out a long time ago, I don't recall if I
previously had a molar out.) I now have a not so bad cold with associated nose
blowing.
Bad tooth = Bad taste?28 Mar 2005 14:59 GMT3
Can a bad tooth be producing a bad taste in my mouth?  The dentist does
not see anything wrong with that tooth, but other options have been
elimiated (sinus, etc.)  Will a root canal possibly take care of this
bad taste?  I also have a dull pain in that area all the time.

What The heck is this?27 Mar 2005 18:54 GMT14
I had 4 original teeth pulled and 2 post-composites on the upper gums.
I had the last molar, bottom right pulled because of placing the upper
denture. It is 2 years now since this and I have this horrible story to
live with.
Question about the time frame for lower 2nd bicuspid implant27 Mar 2005 15:44 GMT2
OK, here's the deal.  At age 39, I had a baby tooth that finally abcessed and
was extracted, with no replacement tooth behind it.  The adjoining 1st
bicuspid is virgin, so I have decided on getting an implant.  I need to wait a
few more weeks before I can even go in for the ...
