RC Gone Badl or Cracked Tooth05 Mar 2005 17:12 GMT9
I had a rc on #20 about 3 years ago.  About 1 year ago the gum became
swollen (didn't really hurt).  I went back to endo who did the RC.  He said
that there is probably a fine crack in the tooth (it is an anchor in a 4
unit bridge) and to leave alone unless it begins to hurt or ...

Great article in the March issue. Thankfully they were not afraid to
include amalgam facts in the article. Great read.

Dizzy and head spinning after injection / root canal04 Mar 2005 20:55 GMT5
I had a root canal done yesterday to my upper left rear molar (one in
front of my wisdom tooth, which is gone).
An injection was used to numb me up after the area was first swabbed
with a topical anesthetic gel/liquid.
Dental bridge materials04 Mar 2005 20:45 GMT1
How important is to have all bridges made from same material? My
relative has two bridges made as MFP (metal fused to pocelain) in the
lower jaw and plans to have another two done in the upper jaw from
zirconium oxide (LAVA system by 3M). Are these two systems compatible?

root canal and abcess04 Mar 2005 10:55 GMT6
Tuesday I had a root canal, and the the next three days had pain..Went
back to dentist today, and he said I developed an abcess there...and
gave me an antibiotic to take for 10 days. I am very concerned, as never
heard of a root canal, becoming abcessed. Does this sometimes happen?
The 9 weirdest tax write-offs04 Mar 2005 05:46 GMT3
The IRS offers no points for originality, but you can't blame
taxpayers for trying. They're writing off criminal acts, their pets
and even their televisions.

Proposal to the dentists of the board:  Let's stop arguing for amalgam.03 Mar 2005 22:18 GMT51
As dentists, I propose we stop advocating for amalgam.  I'm not saying
that we should  badmouth this amazing material.  All I am saying is
that we work too hard to convince people who don't want to be convinced
that amalgam is safe.  We spend way to much electronic ink on the
