What is the current recommendations for prophylactic use of antibiotics for patients with joint replacement? I'll be calling a patient's DDS and MD soon and want to make sure I am up to snuff.

I had #20 root canaled today. So far so good. My doc put me on Penicillin straight away as well. Quick question though...he did the first part of the root canal today and put the temporary filling in place. He said that he put something called polychloro something or

Is tooth bleaching where the dentist gives you the trays and gels to use effective? Is it better or worse than Brite Smile? They are charging $149 for the trays/gel. Is that good? KJ
