What are my porcelain teeth attached with?22 Oct 2004 23:19 GMT7
Hello - I have three tooth caps that are, I am fairly sure, porcelain.
They were inserted after a nightclub bouncer assaulted me. But I

caps were added in 1995 and I am fairly sure that the dentist

I just got an Oral-B electric toothbrush and started to read on
the Internet about how to brush using it. (The manual also has info

In my search I came accross issues of overbrushing which I think

Are copies of X-Rays diagnostic (good enough)?21 Oct 2004 20:51 GMT4
I've run into this situation at UCLA dental school. I had copies of
fairly recent x-rays but they felt only originals were diagnostic. The
originals were a tad lighter.

I am getting a 6 tooth crown replaced (originally injured in a motorcycle
accident).  The periodontist recommends that I get a deep cleaning.  I have
not been to the dentist in a long time so I am going along with that
recommendation.  He is also recommending oral surgery where ...

How can you tell if a filling is leaking?21 Oct 2004 12:18 GMT32
My dentist wants to replace all my old fillings. He says they are "leaking".
Wouldn't I either feel something or  taste something if they were? I asked if
he wanted to replace the amalgam with composite? He said that he would if he
could, but some may be too deep for that and would ...
