What causes constant pain in my gums?04 Oct 2004 02:59 GMT3
I have this constant pain in my gums. I feel it on the top and bottom
of my mouth throughout mostly near the molars. It's a distributed
pain, not sharp at all, not like a cavity. It reminds me of a
throbbing pain, though it doesn't technically throb - not really

Dental Implant has come loose.04 Oct 2004 00:53 GMT2
about 3 years ago I got in a bike accident and lost some front teeth.
I ended up getting the two top incisors replaced with implants, after
first getting a bone graft to beef up the jaw structure.   Anyway all
has been good for the last 3 years, but about 6 months ago I got
Update:  Making a tough decision04 Oct 2004 00:01 GMT13
The 4 top teeth on both sides have been extracted and the top temp partial

dentist gave me for sore spots. I couldn't find the product in any drug or
grocery stores in the area, so I got some Orajel Denture Plus.  ...
Dentist Opinion Wanted03 Oct 2004 16:34 GMT10
I'm a 31 year old male and have never been to the dentist in my life.  I
finally went to one because I have 2 cavities in 2 of my top molars.  At my
initial visit, they examined me and gave a list of things I should have
done.

Bangkok Dentists03 Oct 2004 11:12 GMT1
I will be spending several weeks in Bangkok, and have been told that
the quality of the dental care at the best facilities is quite good.
Is there anyone who might have had experience there, good or bad,
and/or might be able to recommend a practitioner or facility there?

Flouride for adults?03 Oct 2004 04:44 GMT68
At my cleaning yesterday, the hygienist recommended a flouride treatment
and I was surprised as I thought it was mainly beneficial to "young" people
- I am over 50 :)
I don't use toothpaste with flouride or have drinking water with flouride.

thought that maybe the root ('scuse the pun) of the problem was with our
Bridge work - bill too high?02 Oct 2004 15:12 GMT43
My father had implants and bridge work. At the end of the bridge work
(which took about a year to complete), he received a bill for
$37,950.00. (This bill doesn't include the implants, which were done
by somebody else.)  I'm writing to ask if anybody can tell me if this

I just got new crown on to first left upper molar. The crown is too short it
is not making contact with teeth on lower jaw. Is that a problem, other
than other teeth wearing down more? Like bone loss on short tooth? Thank
You.
