Last week my dentist told my I needed root canal performed on at least
one tooth, possibly two (molars).  Of course, I failed to ask any
follow up questions, and my appointment is Monday.
I received his Treatment Plan in the mail a day later.  On the form he

Recently, I have come in contact with patients who are on either Atkins,
South Beach or have had Gastric Bypass (therefore now on low carb diet) that
have had significant increases in tartar since beginning the diets...As a
hygienist, I would like to be able to provide any info ...

Had root canal.  Still infected.  Had apicoectomy, waited 6 months.
Seems it is still infected.

Well, today I finally had my appointment.  At 8am I took two little blue
pills .25mg each of Halcion.  About 45 mins later, I walked in the the
detal office feeling like what at the time I thought was completely
conscious and aware, albeit a bit drunk-like.  I couldn't walk ...

Since most teeth whitening systems use hydrogen peroxide, wouldn't it
be effective to simple buy some 30% hp, cut it with water down to
say, 10-15% and use it as a rinse, holding it in the mouth for some
set amount of time?
