Doxadent Material20 Aug 2004 08:54 GMT10
I would like to correspond with a DDS who used (or still use) Doxadent
material (Doxacertex), I tried several time to obtain scientific report
and samples from the society without any result.
Thanks in advance, Thierry.
bridge vs. implant20 Aug 2004 02:54 GMT2
I had a cracked lower molar (19) that I didn't have taken care of in
time and it eventually broke off & had to be extracted. Turns out the
tooth behind it (18) needed a root canal as well. My dentist
recommends an implant for 19 and a crown on 18.

Strange piece of stuff?  Bone? comming out of....19 Aug 2004 16:43 GMT12
Hello,  I posted a few weeks ago about a white spot on the gum side of molar
#31.  I don`t have wisdom teeth. Site was very tender...the gum not the tooth.
I did go to the dentist and he said it was because I was grinding my teeth and
he fixed me up with a night guard.  The spot ...
Smoking After Zoom Procedure19 Aug 2004 15:53 GMT10
Suppose you get the Zoom procedure done and then you smoke a pack a
day for a month (starting a week after the procedure). Will your teeth
still be close to the whiteness they were after the procedure or will
they be closer to what you had before the procedure?

Do the crown lengthening or not?  19 Aug 2004 05:38 GMT3
We have some GREAT dentists in this newsgroup so I hope they'll respond.
I am trying to decide if I need a Crown Lengthening.
When my dentist pulled the crown off ot tooth #28, it cracked and was below
the gum line.   So a periodontist extracted the tooth.  Then my dentist put
pocket depth reduction, yay!19 Aug 2004 03:59 GMT10
Hi, about 3 months ago I posted on here asking about reasonable costs for
scaling and root planing. I had pockets 4-7mm everywhere.  After getting the
scaling and root planing done with arrestin injected into my gums, getting a
bunch of cavities filled, using a oralb electric ...
how much pain is normal after a deep filling?19 Aug 2004 03:57 GMT2
I mean it was JUST done.. i'm just wondering if everything is ok.. it's
not brutal pain but it's annoying pressure pain... it was on the back
side of one of my canine's which is overlapping another tooth.. so it
def. took some work to get to it..
Terrorism alert18 Aug 2004 22:31 GMT1
I was very worried but Thank God. It was a false alarm.
However, as Jan knows, we dentists use bleach to disinfect root canal
spaces. I wonder if the anti-root-canal-people have sabotaged us
again. There will be a shortage of bleach for weeks to come.
Jaw/Ear prob18 Aug 2004 21:57 GMT2
Hello.  I havn't been to a dentist in about 2 years.  When I was in they
told me I have a small cavity and that I can wait 6 weeks if I want.  I
never got it filled.  I can feel a little hole in the far back molar.  Most
of that tooth is darkened on the inside.  Related or not, I ...
Dentist Has Stained Teeth - Should I Get the Whitening Procedure From Him?18 Aug 2004 21:18 GMT51
This is really strange. I went for a free consultation at a dentist
who uses the Rembrandt one hour teeth whitening system. I go in and
while he's telling me how white my teeth might get I notice his teeth
were worse than mine! They were kind of dark. Definitely not white at
Mass on gums18 Aug 2004 21:03 GMT2
I have developed a small, 1/4" mass on my gums.  No pain or bleeding or
other symptoms, my teeth are okay,
I have had it for about three weeks.   I have been using Ibeprofun (sp)
for any inflammation, with slight positive results.
Visine and Roller Skates18 Aug 2004 13:00 GMT8
'Twas such a nice day here in Quebec, that we decided to do a picnic
lunch on the Plains of Abraham in the Upper Town (near the Chateau
Frontenac) and do some Roller Skating on the oval track that goes around
a good part of it. The track is big because the field is big: there's a
