You are no doubt right in your observation that anti-depressants are given to
many people for many conditions that are accompanied by pain.  
This has become the cure-all for everything without realizing that the solution

   I just got a filling in a molar today and now my teeth don't fit
together.  When I close my mouth and the top molar and the bottom molar come
together it feels like I'm biting down on something hard.  Is the filling
not properly molded?  Will it mold on it's own after a while?  ...
