Root canal ?'s28 Jun 2004 16:46 GMT3
I've had root canals on teeth 28, 29, 30, and 31.  For the past week I've
had intermittent spontaneous pain on my lower right side.  I have 28 and 29
covered with crowns, and am awaiting crowns for 30 and 31.  None of the
teeth are sensitive to cold/hot.  My endodontist is gone ...

Buying Retainers in the UK28 Jun 2004 07:01 GMT1
I had fixed braces for 12 months when I was about 14 and have since been
wearing retainers.
My orthodontist of the time said in the US it is common for people to go on
wearing them indefinitely as it costs you guys a fortune in the first place
dental school visitation26 Jun 2004 04:51 GMT5
Hey all!
My college graduate daughter and I will be visiting some dental schools this
summer informally.  She still needs some sciences to qualify unless she wants
to be an orthodontist in which case she can skip dental school and just work on

implant question25 Jun 2004 22:02 GMT4
When I got an implant about 5 years ago, The implant was not put into the bone
until weeks or months after the tooth was extracted.  I then waited months for
the bone to heal and the crown was then made.  The whole thing took about 10
months.
NTI keeps coming loose?25 Jun 2004 21:48 GMT11
What should I do with an NTI that keeps falling out? I do a reline and
after a few days, it pops out again? It's on my veneer case (they're in
composite at the moment). The patient is some upset, as it's the third
time. I do get a good 'snap' when it's in place, and he can't ...

Enamelon toothpaste is back as Arm and Hammer Enamel Care25 Jun 2004 04:14 GMT9
This is the original poster.  I liked Enamelon because it had a pleasant flavor and a good mouth feel.  You can chew calcium phosphate to remineralize teeth?  Where do you get it?

OK, guys, you've seen my posts now for a few months going, and by now
you've both formed an opinion on me, my abilities, my ideas, and my
interests. That is fine. However, I've NEVER tried to pass myself off as
a big gun, albeit some questionable opinions or advice that I've given
Temp solution for split tooth25 Jun 2004 00:41 GMT33
About 10 years ago, I had a root canal on one of my molars. This
happens to be a bottom molar on the side of my mouth on which I chew,
so it takes a lot of impact. The problem at the time was that my tooth
had gotten so bad as to completely split down the middle.
