Healozone treatment - should I have it?18 Mar 2004 18:12 GMT72
I'm from the UK and I've been offered several doses of ozone treatment
by my dentist, particularly to make it possible to have crown fitted and
to secure a bridge that's being undermined by decay. I gather from
internet sites that this treatment has been sweeping across the UK ...

What are all the ways you can detect scar tissue in the TMJ of a TMD
patient?
shadeguide18 Mar 2004 15:06 GMT4
I don't know the last time I ordered a shade guide, but mine are all
old and falling apart.
I don't see them in any of my catalogs.  Anyone out there have a
good source?
Extraction healing18 Mar 2004 01:26 GMT2
I had an extraction done today, one of the back molars. The blood clot in
the socket has some white stuff in it. Have I got some of my dinner stuck in
it or is this normal?
Follow up Anterior PFM/veneers17 Mar 2004 14:48 GMT2
Thanks to all for your generous time in helping me with my first case. I
won't reply  to all individually (it's 22h20 here, and I start again
tomorrow at 08h15.) I have archived all your replies and sent the
patient home this morning with more bleach syringes. He seems happy with
Identity theft17 Mar 2004 07:32 GMT3
   No, not mine.
But today I was called for a conference call between Aetna and a man
in upstate New York.  I had been treating a patient who apparently is
not who he claims to be.
Seeking dentist recommendation in Suburban MD16 Mar 2004 16:03 GMT6
Need a dentist in Suburban Maryland, outside DC, who is associated
with Optimum Choice or United Concordia.
The guy I see now runs ones of those "fast food" dental offices where
the hygenist cleans your tooth, and then he gives the teeth a
Nerve structures in the jaw and 'referred pain'16 Mar 2004 11:40 GMT2
A few days after the tricky extraction of my lower left rear molar
(three weeks ago now) I started to get intermittent short, sharp pains
in some of the *upper* teeth on the left side of my mouth, mostly in
the two teeth in front of the main incisor (or 'fang' as I call it)
Upper versus Lower Teeth16 Mar 2004 08:04 GMT5
I am assuming there are statistics available if I knew where to look but
here is a question I have about the frequency of tooth repairs:
Are there figures showing the attrition rate of various teeth and do the
upper teeth usually last longer (have less problems) than the lower set?
What do US dentists do in a case like this?16 Mar 2004 04:00 GMT36
Hello legally-conscious US dentists,
How about the following case:I am a dentist in Europe. I recently
had a new patient, a 6-year old nice little girl with some really
suspicious interproximal discolorations in the deciduous teeth.
onlay sensitivity/rocking?15 Mar 2004 20:17 GMT5
Hello... I've been searching posts on here to see if anything fits my
particular situation but I haven't seen anything that quite matches
up.  I had an onlay put on one of my bottom back teeth (molar?  it's
the one next to the last if you don't count my wisdom teeth which were
My Experience in the Softdent  10 bog15 Mar 2004 18:51 GMT1
I just jumped into the dental office software game about a month ago
looking for work on the side.  My first experience was to upgrade an
office from Softdent v9.8 to v10.0.2.  The original office network
configuration, peer-2-peer through a 100BaseT pocket hub, four win98

tonsils with off-white bits on them15 Mar 2004 08:01 GMT2
Hey there
I wonder if anyone can clear something up for me.  Every few weeks I
wake up in the morning, feeling a bit sick and it feels like something
is stuck to my tonsils.  I go to the bathroom mirror, open wide and my
