Looks like my husband (he's 78) may have mild CHF. The cardiologist put him on Lasix and Aldactone and told us to stop using salt. Not adding salt is easy, but I know from reading labels that just about everything already has salt in it.

Instead of drinking stuff to kill hunger, drink only to quench thirst. When doing the latter, there will be nothing sweeter than water. If water is plain and not sweet, then there is no thirst. Doing the above, makes us healthier (hungrier) than ever.
