My father is 64 years old. He had severe aortic stenosis and thus replaced it with a Biologic Valve on July 2006. Last week he had fever and there was slight variations on his ECG. He was under observation for two days and now he is normal.

Does the mesh used to repair the opening from a bypass grow into the skin whereby you might feel some type of a pulling sensation in the chest area upon certain exertions? I had surgery six years ago and sometimes now have that type of feeling. It's hard to explain but hope

I am a high risk patient and have been fighting to lower cholesterol since developing severe myalgia with Lipitor, then Zocor and finally with Zetia. Only the very mild Pravachol is tolerable with a slight myalgia. CK is normal.
