Dr. hard to reach, so i thought I'd ask here. Taking Lipitor now. Stuff costs a fortune. Had in the nespaper today that they have approved a Generic for Plavix.

Okay... I had a stress test a few weeks back. I was born with some congenital hart defects (CoArt, and Aortic Murmur). I had the CoArt repaired when I was 7 yrs old, and the valve was repleced at age 27. Currently, I am 27.

What are the terms of engagement during/after a nuclear stress test? My wife has been instructed to have one done for an irregular heart beat and we're looking for information on what effects are, what to expect at home, etc.

Have you had this experience with Lipitor? You exercise, exercise, exercise. Then, when you get your bloodwork, your HDL hasn't budged. I had this experience, and now apprarently the same is true of the crestor I'm now taking.

By blood pressure is around 125/82 but sometimes when I check it is much lower. My pulse however stays around 51 - 55 beats per minute. I do exercise but dont consider myself an athlete. Is my heart beat too
