I am 51 and in pretty good health. I exercise regularly and am starting to watch my diet to lower cholesterol. Recently I started seeing a new GP doctor and had a physical. The blood-work indicated that my LDL level was 121 so he prescribed Simvastatin 20 MG to me.

Looks like I am caught between a rock and a hard place. I am at high risk for stroke and/or CV problems so my doctor correctly wants my BP reduced from my normal 150-160 range and he also wants me in mild bradycardia. So the medications prescribed are the beta blocker Toprol XL 25 ...
