I am on Toprol XL 50 mg and Hytrin 5 mg for BP control.  In order to track
the medication effectiveness I did a one-time check of my BP every 1/2 hour
for 24 hours...skipping sleep time.
Systolic pressure averaged 145 with a range of 125 to 160

I've been on 20 mg of lipitor for 10 days now and I want to stop
it and go on relatively high niacin with garlic and other nutrients
and diet changes.  I'm wondering how many days I should be off
lipitor before I start the niacin.

So let's review...
Andrew B Chung lasted 88 days in Ocala, FL, gets fired for gross
incompetence. Plays the "I'm being discriminated" card. Having failed
that, plays the "They want me to lie" card.

Can hiatal hernia cause irregular heart?25 Jan 2006 17:30 GMT1
I have lived with Heart palpitations most of my life.
It's very uncomfortable, sometime real scary. But  I have learned to
live with the condition which is supposedly due to a leaky mitral
valve. It hasn't slowed me down too much. Have always jogged,
Giving my body a break from statins25 Jan 2006 14:27 GMT9
Since I was put on Vytorin, Plavix, Toporol and Altace seven months ago
I haven't noticed any side effects. However, I'm always concerned
about how my organs will react to log term use of statin drugs. While I
know my cardiologist would say that "cycling" a stating would not give

Attack: I recently had a heart attack while exercising. My angiogram
showed 100% blockage of the right coronary artery. The blockage was
cleared and a stent inserted within about two hours. Damage was minimal
and I could engage in normal activities and start strenuous exercise
Costochondritis or angina?23 Jan 2006 05:02 GMT1
I've been having pain in my chest around my second rib. Someone in
alt.med.fibromyalgia gave me a link to an article on costochondritis.
Costochondritis sounds exactly like what I have, but I just want to make
sure this isn't angina.
