I've been on 20 mg of lipitor for 10 days now and I want to stop it and go on relatively high niacin with garlic and other nutrients and diet changes. I'm wondering how many days I should be off lipitor before I start the niacin.

I've been having pain in my chest around my second rib. Someone in alt.med.fibromyalgia gave me a link to an article on costochondritis. Costochondritis sounds exactly like what I have, but I just want to make sure this isn't angina.
