My mother ( 65 years of age ) was diagnosed with aortic valve problem:
1) Stenosis Ostii Arteriori Sin p6=45
2) Insuficientia Valvulae Semilunaris Aortae
Cardiologist recommended  AVR based on echo examination and stetoscope.

response.  Experts in this group may have an answer for me.
It is said that both high blood pressure and abrupt decrease of blood
pressure can cause stroke. I wonder whether these two causes of stroke

i went to spain for a few days and expierenced some serious sleeping
problems there.  Is it possible that the height of 800 m above
sealevel has something to do with it ???

I just got over a really strong sinus infection. It effected my sinuses,
ears, and upper respitory system.  At the same time I had a crohn's flare up
that made matters much worse.
It seemed to go away, but a few days after I was feeling better I developed

I had my yearly physical with my new doctor (I recently relocated). He felt
my LDL (from last bloodwork 6 months ago with another dr.) at 70mg/DL was
too low and suggested discontinuing the Zetia and halving the Pravachol to
20mg. (Fine with me.) I am not diabetic.
