PSVT and flying31 Aug 2005 21:09 GMT2
15 years ago I would get PSVTs at 250bpm after a sudden move (usually
bending over or tripping). If I laid down it would stop instantly. But if I
failed to lay down quickly the tachycardia would last for up to 30 minutes.
One time it lasted 4 hours. I have never had to go to the ER. ...

I tried three different statin drugs and had side effects with all of them,
eg, bloating, decreased energy, gassy, frequent small light colored BMs.  I
finally refused to take anymore statins.  Been watching my diet and taking
fish oil.  Cholesterol a little high and HDL a little ...

My son was diagnosed with WPW this January, 2005. He is 8 years old. He
passed out and was taken to the hospital where the EKG showed WPW. He
has had a stress test and the WPW did not disappear.

left bundle branch blockage.  Stress test with imaging showed nothing and
was sent home.  One month later at cardiologists no LBBB ...

Reduced Cholestrol and Tetracycline30 Aug 2005 21:53 GMT2
I am a 48 year old male who normally takes 5mg of simvastatin daily.  This
normally keeps my cholestrol levels in the 200-215 area, my LDL around 130
and my Trigylcerides around 100  Without the 5mg my cholestrol is around 235,
my LDL is around 165 and the TRIs around 140.
Low Dose Lipitor & Zocor Triggered Muscle Pain - What's Next?29 Aug 2005 17:53 GMT19
OK - Gave it a try but both Lipitor 5 mg and Zocor 10 mg caused muscle
twitching and pain.  I really NEED an atherosclerosis risk reduction plan.
I have an appointment with my doctor in a week and presumably he will have a
plan.  But if he doesn't, I want something to suggest and ...

Are chest heart monitors safe?26 Aug 2005 05:06 GMT5
I am curious if the heart-strap monitors from the likes of Timex and
Polar are safe to wear? The EM is so slow it cannot cause heart
problems can it?

Should I stop taking PLAVIX?24 Aug 2005 02:16 GMT21
I have been begging my Cardioligist for months to take me off of
Plavix, but he refuses saying I NEED to take it. At his recommendation
I saw a P.A. (that works for his wife) and the P.A. sent me to have
tests for bleeding ulcer. Due to an obvious "conflict of interest" I am
Palpatations from tight pants?24 Aug 2005 00:18 GMT3
I posted here about a month ago about palpatations that I had for 3
days in a row.
Went to a cardiologist...had an echo, stress test and a halter monitor.
Nothing out of the ordinary came up.
