Controlling Hypertension:  Medicine vs. Excercise28 Jul 2005 06:22 GMT15

I'm 33, and it's getting harder to control my high blood pressure with
diet and exercise alone.  So I'm considering mediation.

My father is 82 years old. He is not obese, but has hypertension,

Is dark chocolate really good for you?26 Jul 2005 17:59 GMT17
Here is my question to those of you who know more than me about this.

good it can be is almost unbelievable.

This is a problem that has gotten worse in the last couple years and it
has been gradual. I am 48 yrs old and cycle about 50 miles a week. I
have noted that my heart rate goes to 100% of max and over (170 to 190

Children need guns for protection26 Jul 2005 00:51 GMT7
Our children should be allowed to carry sidearms from the age of 10.  Our
schoolyards are crawling with sex deviants and white slavers whose only desire
is to steal young children and take them away.  Giving children guns would
ensure their safety and stop the bullying that is so ...

Non-invasive mitral valve repair vs. open heart procedure24 Jul 2005 12:01 GMT1
I am a 58 year old male who has always enjoyed good health.  I have had
a leaky mitral valve for about 4 years.  I noticed severe shortness of
breath on March 14, 2005.  On April 1 my primary care physician
diagnosed an irregular heart beat.  He referred me to a cardiologist
