Has anyone who has taken Metoprolol with similar complications?
I am 37 years of age two years my b/p shot up to like 160/90 with
palpitations. Now palpitations is under control.
B/p was also been under control. I know Metoprolol is know to have

I have AF and cannot tolerate Digoxin and seem unable to benefit from
Beta Blockers too.
I am currently on 20 mg of Frusemide in the morning ( any more and my
heart beat is even faster.

I was reading a medical book yesterday and the doctor mentioned the use of
special patches. She said that the patches allow medicines to be "absorbed
directly into circulation, thus bypassing the liver.  This reduces the
work load upon the liver..."

Last Wednesday, I noticed I started having Heart palpitations.
It would last for maybe 2 seconds (seems longer).
I would get a couple every few hours.
I didnt think it was a big deal, since I had worked out Tuesday, so I

 My dad recently got diagnosed with coronary heart disease.  He is 59
yrs old, non-diabetic, wiht known case of hypertension and bronchial
asthma.   His angiography are something like:
