I know that only a doctor is qualified to make a decision on these kinds of

I have a 3 year old son who was born with a bicuspid aortic valve, VSD, and
a right sided aortic arch. The cardiologist never recommended surgery for
the VSD, which was a grade 3 and now closing up. He goes in for an
echocardiogram once every year.
