Question... My GP took a reflex rubber hammer and hit the underside of my
wrists close to where my hands connect to the wrist..he hit a nerve and it
made my jump.. in both hands.. and my finders tingled..
Is this a symptom of carpal tunnel... I had told him that my fingers were

My father has an ICD fitted which was the result of 3 previous Heart
Attacks.  I am told that this unit monitors his heart rate and from
what I understand when needed it will correct the rhythm.
Also if his heart was to fail it will shock him (I have seen this

I had an ecg for the first time at a hospital during Pre-Op testing.
BP was very high for me 158/??.( It was 128/70 prior week under no
stressful feeling). ECG report said, "premature atrial complex"
A week later visited my GP and BP was 144/75, and ecg report was

High just a little of center to the left or right
Bottom left

My cardiologist  has suggested that I may have to  be fitted with a
pacemaker,which will even- out some entopic heart beats that I have.what
experiences have the  N/G had with these devices, and are there any cyclist
who  have them,cycling is recommended  as post operative ...

My average BP reading is about 125/75.  There are times when it is around
130/80, but more times when it is about 117-120/65.  Are readings in this
range safe to maintain?  I tend to stay away from medication, because it
seems that BP meds seem to exacerbate problems that lead to me ...
