Just checked my bp last week. A bit lower than usual, systolic is:98, diastolic is: 68 and heartbeat is 58. Is this considered normal or below normal?

My heart seems to be jumping around a lot on the odd occasions (at least, I think it's my heart!) and I was wondring if there is a low cost computer program that will record my heartbeat for a while and then analyse it?

What is specifically the deleterious effects of statins and niacin, regards your liver? Is it the biproduct of reducing the cholesterol. Is it some toxin that is an artifact of the reduction process?
