Just checked my bp last week. A bit lower
than usual, systolic is:98, diastolic is: 68
and heartbeat is 58.
Is this considered normal or below normal?

My heart seems to be jumping around a lot on the odd occasions (at
least, I think it's my heart!) and I was wondring if there is a low
cost computer program that will record my heartbeat for a while and

What is specifically the deleterious effects of statins and niacin, regards
your liver?
Is it the biproduct of reducing the cholesterol. Is it some toxin that is an
artifact of the reduction process?

I have a 3 months old son, who had TOF diagnosed right after he was
born. The pediatrician heard a murmur and we took him to a
cardiologist pediatrician. So far our son has no symptons (except for
the murmur). Here in Brazil a surgery it is recommended between the

that is consistently between 70-80? She is otherwise in good health and

Ok, we see a lot about Crestor and other cholesterol lowering medications but
what about VYTORIN?  Is this one just too new and they don't know as much about
bad side effects?  I have been taking Crestor and my doctor is about to switch
me to VYTORIN.  I'm just curious if anyone ...

time. Is this as bad as he thought it could be? He said absolutely no beers

I'm 52 with type-2 diabetes and a strong family history of heart problems,
am obese, and was on Lipitor but, my CPK's went up to 8500, so, am on no
statins for now.  While my stress tests and ekg's were all normal when I had
them, I'm still concerned that I'm a walking time bomb. ...
