I have a pacemaker, have paroxysmal afib and am on flecainide + sotalol + ticlopidine. I used to take Vioxx from last May to treat occasional episodes of pain at my (right) knee, due to arthritis and menisc problems.

Just to further what the cardiologist went over with me. I was concerned with occasional irregular heartbeat episodes, very high heart rates when exercising, and possible harm from over exerting when exercising. Stress test from spring showed some atrial tachycardia

You may recall I posted some time ago this year - and had a complete heart workup. The doc wanted to do a cath "...to see what was going on..." which seemed a bit risky, given the complication statistics for that procedure.
