As you all know I have had some problems and had a stress test and ekg which were fine. It is becoming now that I can make my heart start beating funny by laying on my side and sometimes eventaking a real deep breath. Why would this be?

What exactly is resting heart rate? I've read that you should take it when right when you get up for the day. When you measure during the day when sitting or resting is it a true resting heart rate since your body is actually doing more stuff?
