Thanks everyone for your thoughts and suggestions.  I am still working
through the combined list.  As suggested, I have picked a distinct
handle and will continue to post my thoughts and experiences.
Today I saw my general practitioner for the first time in 4 years.  He

Last July my 56 year old firefighter father was diagnosed with
adenocarcinoma of the esophagus. He had/has mets in lymph nodes, liver
and one rib. He went undiagnosed for a year because a biopsy was not
taken during a scope, there was a suspicious area on that scope.

Only on steroid Prednisone as first drug to prevent bleeding until I see

to see a gynecologic oncologist in a few days and
expect to have her in surgery within about 1 week.
