My father has been diagnosed with a plasmacytoma on his pelvis, he is
73 and feels perfectly ok apart from a noticble ache from the tumour
site.

Im a little confused as to the difference between a solitary
plasmacytoma and Myeloma, Im of the understanding that a plasmacytoma
is caused by a defective plasma cell in the bone marrow, that self
replicates and forms a lesion of the bone, these defective cells

I am new to this site, so I appologize if I ask a question that has been
asked already.  I have looked all over the internet.
My mother had breast cancer about 5 years ago.  Stage 3.  Since, she has been
doing great, but lately has been sick often.  She has been in the hospital

I recently went in for a CT scan of my kidney as I was dealing w/
kidney stones last weekend and the radiologist found a 7.5cm
mesenteric mass suspicious for a neoplasm particularly lymphoma.  I'm
now scheduled for a biopsy on Monday to see what this mass is so we
