Well I've completed 9 of 35 RT's, with taxol & carboplatin once a week. Of the 3 tumors on my neck, 2 are no longer outwardly detectable and the largest one(about the size of an XL egg) has reduced in size by 80-90%. I am beginning to feel the side effects of the RT. Continuous ...

After getting advice here, my onc. examined my teeth and set up an appointment with a dentist. I had one extraction today and I go in to get the fluoride trays made next Wednesday.

My cousin has been diagnosed with colon cancer, around the midpoint of the ascending colon. It was picked up during a colonoscopy, and was so small that the doctor almost missed it. She was told that it was caught very early and that prognosis was very good.

J's uncle has CUP ( cancer of unknown primary site). He is 82 and broke his leg, he is still in the hospital for physio. According to emedicine median survivial is 5-6 months which also tied to a median age of 59, so her uncle may have less time. Hopefully
