For some reason my McAfee virus scan does not let me 'reply' to posts, I can 'create' though so this is in response to your comments - More questions: Is an "enhanced CT scan" the same as a CT scan with contrast, or something different?

I saw my GP today, and he prescribed oral Mycostatin therapy for my throat, which he believes has a severe fungal infection. Also once per day Flucozole (Fluconazole) 200 mg. (giant) tablet for five days at which point I check back in with GP.

The following is an email my friend sent me, more about her husband's condition...keep in mind that he hasn't had a biopsy just the CT scan. Isn't two months a bit long to wait to see what's going on with him? Can they determine from a CT scan if a cancer is fast-growing or not?

Just a update on how Michael and i are doing. His bone scan showed no other tumors through his skeleton thank god. Michael has had chest pains for a while so when the cardiologist saw him we were told that he had coronary heart disease as well. My fear is not losing Michael

i posted awhile ago about having tongue cancer. It appears that I caught it early enough. THANK JESUS! Went to the onc, he said i needed no chemo, went to the rad guy, need no radiation. looks like i got this beat! I guess the surgery got it all
