Has anyone had a CD copy of their films sent to Sloan Kettering for a
2nd opinion? We are considering this with Ken since his GBM has returned
and it is in an area where our original surgeon says it is inoperable
and too large for Gamma Knife.

Hi everyone.  Went to see the neurologist today and she had a copy of
Tuesdays PET scan.  She was kind enough to give me the preliminary
results...........NO new cancer.  There is still one lesion in the right
lung - 5 mm unchanged since last CAT scan.

As you know I'm having to try and sift through 100s of clincal trials on
my own because my oncologists are too busy to bother with trials (their
words, not mine) Most I've called won't talk to me because I'm not a
doctor, the ones that will say that a CEA of 235 that is doubling ...

I wonder if there is anyone out there who has cancer but not having
treatment.  I have stage IV CUP with extensive metastasis so it's
seems pointless to take chemo as it will not cure the cancer.
