My elderly aunt was tentatively DXed with pancreatic cancer about 6 months ago because of a spot on her pancreas revealed by a scan. She had lost a lot of weight. They did no biopsy at the time because she is frail. She just decided if it was cancer to opt for palliative care.

Hubby was diagnosed in late Oct. He was having headaches that would not go away, the Doctor sent him for an MRI, there were over 20 lesions. He then had a liver biopsy which was negative and a lung biopsy that had a mass that was removed. There were also 3 lymph nodes

I'm supporting my father through the latter stages of lung cancer. He's suffered through a disrupted curse of chemo and is now part way through a course of radiotherapy to relieve a secondary in his brain. Luckily, so far, he has remained pain free.
