My father has been diagnosed with stomach cancer stage IV with severe

He went through surgery on 5/31/06 but the doctor was unable to remove

I've just been diagnosed with thyroid cancer - the papillary type.  I
understand from my GP that is the most common and the most easily cured.  I
see the specialist on 9 June and will probably have surgery the following
week.  The GP says I will probably have the whole thyroid ...

according to a new review of previous studies.
DCIS02 Jun 2006 19:43 GMT1
I was recently diagnosed with DCIS. They tell me it is not invasive and
100% curable. I am having a lumpectomy on June 19. My question is
this....they are also doing a node biopsy, removing the Centinel (sp?)
node and say they will remove a few more if there is any sign of the

Janet's tongue surgery02 Jun 2006 10:50 GMT4
Janet, it won't hurt to take a bell, a horn with a bulb on it, or something,
in case the hospital call system is ignored.  If I were admitting you, it
would be to a bed across from the nurse's station, and perhaps that will be
where you are put.  It has an up and a down side: up ...

The Date is set.01 Jun 2006 17:19 GMT25
I promised you nice people that I'd keep you posted. I have an
appointment for my tongue cancer surgery on June 2.
I have to get "clearance" from my internest on Wednesday. That entails
an EKG, but I don't need a chest X-ray because we have the CT scan from
Port placement?01 Jun 2006 13:55 GMT11
I am always wondering why the port is placed over the clavicle but under the
seat belt and bra strap location? Is there a real reason or just the
surgeons choice? I cannot wait to ask the quack who placed mine.
