I have mentioned Dianne and her Leukemia (AML-M0) before.   (her husband
died of prostate cancer during her remission.)   She has relapsed and now is
awaiting a bone marrow donation.  3 of us siblings are being tested, many
nieces and nephews are in the wings, waiting to be called ...
radiation question11 Jun 2006 01:16 GMT10
After having radiation over a week and half ago, I'm finding every time I
eat I'm feeling nauseous. Is this normal? Makes me not want to eat.
(on a side note, the Radiaiton Oncologist said this was the last radiation I
could receive in that area)

I have been with my dad since 7.30pm Wednesday night since he took a
turn for the worst.
Sadly his body couldn't cope and at 2.05pm this afternoon my dad passed
away with lung cancer. He had only been diagnosed 6 weeks.
Breast calcification, benign dx. changing to malignant with time?10 Jun 2006 21:40 GMT3
About 2.5 years ago I had a 12-core biopsy at Beth Israel's
Comprehensive Breast Center, NYC.
I had microcalcifications which were suspicious and in a 3-hr
"Mammotome" procedure they got a lot of  samples including the

Focus on funny things, and things to do next year when this is all behind
you.
Back from the Doc with Bad News09 Jun 2006 23:24 GMT32
I just came back from my first post op visit. The cancer was stage III.

chemo. I will also have to have some teeth removed if they are "bad". I
don't even know what they mean by "bad" teeth.  The are going to ...

A quick post to let everyone know that I'm still here.  Being a bit of
a cheapskate, I had my home Internet connection disconnected on January
6th because I would have been billed for another month on January 8th.
I haven't been around because I didn't get the Internet hooked up to ...

Rituxan as maintenance treatment07 Jun 2006 17:11 GMT3
I've completed 5 sessions of CHOP-R and 21 sessions of radiation for
lymphoma. I'm feeling pretty good. I've just had the first of quarterly
treatments of Rituxan as maintenance therapy to reduce the probability
of a tumor return. My oncologist thinks very highly of using this for
