I went to my bead society meeting tonight.  We make things out of beads -
nothing remotely to do with cancer.  During 'show & tell,' a woman got up
to show various creations including one made by a friend who was undergoing
treatment for cancer of the soft palatte (sp?).

My cousin was diagnosed with blood cancer. He underwent extensive chemo
therapy etc and other treatments. The cancer has cleared from his blood
but the cancer has moved to his brain, and there are cancerous cells
around in the fluid which surrounds his brain. The doctors have told

One of the guys that is in our brain tumor support group (35 years
old/GBM) has been prescribed Tamoxifen as part of his treatment. I
thought this was exclusively a breast cancer drug----has anyone else
heard of this drug being used on other cancers?

Stage 3b, elected for no treatment, i.e. no operation, no chemo, no
radiation. Just live life out. In anyones opinion do I dare hope to
see the 4th of July?
