I had one at age 43. All clear. Doc said get another in three years. I did. All clear. Now the doc says come back in five years. Why five and not three? (Different doctor, the second time.) I had lifelong slow transit and some blood which precipitated the first test. No other risk

Had blood work done yesterday. Everything is fine. Oncologist wants to see him in 6 weeks. He last had an onc appt. 6 weeks ago. Could someone tell me the purpose of the blood tests every 6 weeks? What are they looking for? Many thanks for any answers.

my daughter is going to be getting Doxorubicin 30mg/m2/day continuous infusion Days 1 and 2. Can you tell me what is meant by continous infusion? Is this typically done in the hospital over an entire day? Thanks for your help!

Remember Chemotherapy is the worst period you would ever have. Unlike any conventional treatment for any other disease, it comes with its own problems. I would like to advice the women,ladies or girls on chemo to be very proud
