I was dx'd 10/01/05 with this cancer I'm 39 yr old male. From what my
doctors have told me very few people as young as I get this type of cancer.
Am looking to talk to someone who has/had this type of cancer so My wife and
I know what I'm in for from the Metro Phoenix area to ...

 My mother had breast cancer 6 years ago, had chemoteraphy and also
did alternative terapies, was better for several years, but at the
begining of this year it all came back: now she has peritoneal
carcinomatosis. She underwent surgery but the surgeon said there was

Was a long day as the oncologist was an hour behind schedule! Turns out he
doesn't have the report from the CT scan but he did look at it himself and
he could tell me that the original tumor has shrunk to about 1/2 it's

My sweet husband has a darkened area on his cheek which has pink, brown, and
pale areas.  It is larger than a pencil eraser, and irregular in shape.   I
have watched this 5 days and it does not fade.   I feel like this is a young

Got back from Dallas today.  My BIL has been having radiation on what turns
out to be three tumors, which cover his rt. hemisphere.
He has been comatose for 2 weeks, but while we were there he displayed a gag

A few months ago my half brother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
He has 12 months or less to live.
He began complaining of back and stomach pains, which was caused by the

My father was given some news regarding his esophageal cancer yesterday
(with mets). Apparently before treatments started a few months ago his
protein markers were 8700, whatever that means. After his second chemo
and all his radiation the number was reduced to 260.

I had a seizure from a brain tumor two months ago so they put me on
400mg/day Dilantin (phenytoin).  Anyone in this group have experience taking
this medication?  I'm looking for advise on what to expect sensation wise
the longer I'm on it and if there are any better alternatives ...
