My father was given some news regarding his esophageal cancer yesterday (with mets). Apparently before treatments started a few months ago his protein markers were 8700, whatever that means. After his second chemo and all his radiation the number was reduced to 260.

I had a seizure from a brain tumor two months ago so they put me on 400mg/day Dilantin (phenytoin). Anyone in this group have experience taking this medication? I'm looking for advise on what to expect sensation wise the longer I'm on it and if there are any better alternatives ...
