I'm updating a bit on the procedure that my father went through
yesterday. He remembered a great deal of it because the sedation didn't
work that well on him. The Dr gave him the max dose but it didn't knock
him out completely.

Objective of my preoperative chemo/radiation treatments is to shrink
the tumor of my rectal cancer.  Chemo is 5-FU through continuous
infusion and radiation is done daily.  My most bothersome symptom is i
have this need to go to the bathroom all the time..... is this symptom

Got scanned Friday, got the results today.  Still NED.  I am now about 2
1/2 years from Dx of SCLC, one year since last mets (in brain). Now getting
scanned on a 6 month cycle instead of 3 month.  That feels like a milestone.

I was diagnosed with prostate cancer on June 23rd 2005 which was quite
a shock as I was a fit and active 54 yr old at the time , or so I

Curt's onc is referring him to radiation again. this time for Strontium 89
or Sumerian injection. His right leg is so bad that he limps and is not
getting his jobs done so if falling behind and getting more and more angry
and vengeful.
