Curt saw his Onoc doc today and told him that he wasn't going to do any

He told Dr Bloom that he was following an organic diet (for ...
Mom Saw 2 New Doctors Today09 Jul 2005 01:18 GMT2
Took mom to her appointment today. To recap, she did cycles of
carbo/taxol, that worked in one area of her body to shrink the tumors
but the cancer spread in other parts of the body. We were told this is
uncommon, but does happen. Approximately one week after each infusion of

Well, as I posted earlier, mom had a portion of her right lung removed on
the 28th of june.  she was doing really well on the 29th and 30th.  However
on the 1st she backslid pretty hard.  her blood pressure started dropping,
she was spiking a fever of around 100f, and fluid was ...

My terminal BIL (CA prostate with Met) had radioisotopes injected IV
yesterday as a pain treatment.  How dangerous is the radiation to his wife,
who is just in remission (Leukemia).
Thanks, Jackie
Socks feeling better - hitting the road to Steamboat08 Jul 2005 19:50 GMT8
Hi, ya'll,
I know I can't get suckered in to believing Socks is getting better, but
his appearance & behavior would suggest he is.  His appetite remains
healthy & his energy level has certainly increased.
Steph: radioisotope injected08 Jul 2005 05:26 GMT2
My BIL had radioisotope injection yesterday.  He has been told not to use
the urinal, but not the reasoning behind it.
Also, how "at risk" is my sister his caretaker, who is just in remission
from leukemia?

(1)Difficulty in swallowing....  and (2) any info on Mistletoe07 Jul 2005 19:26 GMT25
My husband is undergoing FOLFOX7 for recurrent rectal cancer.  (I
previously posted on this site.)  He is having problems swallowing.
Last Tuesday...five days ago at the exam the Oncologist looked down his
throat and saw nothing.  And no mouth sores.  But because of this
one piece of good news07 Jul 2005 18:19 GMT1
my arythmia was probably NOT cancer related, so I can keep getting treated
for it without any danger to lose my hospice coverage. It is episodic, not
chronic, may never happen again, HASNT happened since the one incident, and
needs no ongoing treatment.  Dr advised me of some ...
Latest update on my father06 Jul 2005 19:28 GMT8
I spoke with Miriam tonite. Dad is getting worse. He has been eating less
and less and the last 2 days practically nothing.
The Hospice nurse says he is in a phase called "actively dying."
They could give him IV Fluids, but there is really no point as that will
Armstrong gets yellow! Zabriskie crashes06 Jul 2005 05:42 GMT5
you never want to see the other guy lose in an injury crash, but that
happened here.  Zabriskie's team was winning or tied with Armstrong's 2K
from the end when Zabriskie touched a wheel.  His team went on the finish
2" behind Discovery Channel, but Zabriskie went down hard and ...

Please be very wary of this man. Especially please do not give him any
personal details. He may well get you into his confidence and then use
this information against you, like he has others before and make ...
