Pain clinic06 May 2005 23:19 GMT28
Well, finally had my assessment by the local hospital Pain Management

Lots of physical prodding and poking by the first two, and a try at
New to group... question about Megac06 May 2005 09:36 GMT19
Hello.  I have been lurking in here for a few weeks, but I didn't have a
need to post because my Mom successfully went into remission from early
stages of lung cancer.  However, she had her 3 month check up on Thursday of
last week, with the results coming back as not so good.  Two ...

I thought I'd let people know about a new form of brachytherapy - the direct
injection into tumours of porous silicon doped with the radionuclide
phosphorus 32. The radionuclide is held in place by the silicon and kills
the surrounding cancer cells. The porous silicon dissolves over ...

My stepdad had Hepatitis B which developed to liver cancer. He had a
few surgery to remove the tumors and he was also treated with some
injections. I don't really know what kind of drug is injected. He lives
in Hong Kong. He has cancer for approximately 2 years now. I did some

What's your highest CEA level ?05 May 2005 04:06 GMT6
Got some bad news today. My CEA reading is the highest since my
initial colorectal tumor resection when it was 72. After treatment
started it dropped to 7, but has since been slowly climbing the past
year until now at 99. Along with this new higher reading is the

My husband has NSCLC-advanced stage.  First round of chemo was in July thru

Hello everyone - I wrote awhile ago about DH's surgery and wanted to
add to it for anyone who may join the board contemplating this surgery.
But, first of all I have to tell you that at times I am overwhelmed by
the courage displayed on this board - I can't tell you how much my

I was recently, three weeks ago diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma
of the tongue.  Surgery has removed the tumor with clean margins as
well as all the lymph nodes on the right side of my neck.
Unforunately the cancer has metastastized to one of the lymph nodes.
CANCER VICTIM? READ NEIL RUZIC'S BOOK NOW, FOR YOU SAKE!03 May 2005 15:13 GMT2
This is the most profound book by a cancer victim (who essentially
cured himself, by self-education) on cancer, and why we can't trust
our doctor to bring us the latest cures from Science.
If you have cancer, my advice is: READ THIS BOOK! Get it from your

no chemo today. some of the numbers in my CBC were too high.  That is
probably because my liver is shot.  By delaying everything one week, my off
