cancer spread16 May 2005 03:13 GMT20
What is amazing is the number of people developing cancer these days.  Many
friends have come to me - far more than I expected - telling me that they
have cancer too.  Half the executiv committee of my environmental
organization has some form of it.  One, a pharmacist, knows what ...

I had a long talk w/her today.  And I was troubled by what she said.  She is
*so* worried about her appearance that she would rather NOT have intensive
treatment (chemo that would make her lose her hair).  The oral chemo she is

A lady I know has just completed chemo and radiation treatment for breast
cancer. She is in limbo now waiting to find out if this treatment has worked
and is finding it hard to cope with her feelings. Can anyone recommend a
good book that deals with these issues?
