My friend Christopher died a week ago while hosptialized. He had some
pallative surgery to keep his digestive tract open, it was necessary
since the blockage was below the stomach. Although the surgery was
succesful he was having a lot of trouble recovering and his diarrhea

After spending a week in the hospital with my mother while she took
tests and waited, it was confirmed yesterday morning that she has stage
4 lung cancer. We're obviously still in a state of shock and grief.
